Renewable raw materials have been optimised as the basis for waxes and fluorine-free polymers for the best water repellency and permanence. Suitability for various standards such as ZDHC, Bluesing, GOTS, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and an MHC for C2C are a matter of course and emphasise the CHT Group's commitment to sustainability.

Two new developments offer special performance in various fields of application:

ECOPERL YWR is a versatile water repellent for yarns with excellent water absorption stop. The finish is highly resistant to all types of friction that occur during the sewing, knitting and weaving process.

ECOPERL DCR is a highly effective water repellent for the padding finish of all fibre types and offers outstanding resistance to domestic laundering and dry cleaning

Suitable flame retardants are designed to delay the spread of flames in the event of a fire, giving people at risk more time to rescue or extinguish the fire or to escape.

CHT offers these flame retardants under the name APYROL.

In addition to their effectiveness in the event of fire, modern flame retardants are also subject to increasingly stringent requirements in terms of environmental compatibility. This applies from production to processing and application.

The CHT Group also offers ecological alternatives to the classic antimony/halogen-containing products, so-called "green" flame retardants based on P-N or inorganic Mg or Al compounds.

With TUBCOSIL, the CHT Group has developed silicone coatings that can be applied to almost all textiles and nonwovens. They are primarily used in the field of technical textiles, where they fulfil the highest technical requirements in terms of resistance, mechanics, haptics and appearance.

The TUBCOSIL products are 2-component systems that are mixed in the specified mixing ratio and cross-linked in a polyaddition reaction. This means that the solvent-free 100% systems are also interesting from an ecological point of view.
