Founded in 1961 by Georg Lang the company „Lang Korbwaren“ quickly became one of the main producers of baskets and wickerwork in Austria.

In the Mid 1980ies Reinhold Lang took over the responsibility to continue business in second generation. He started direct import of goods from Far East and developed the product range with enhanced floristic focus.

The 1990ies were characterized by growth.
1990 the company moved to a new-built larger location, which was enlarged only 5 years later.

Lang Kunstgewerbe was co-founder of Trend-Carrousel, a cooperation of leading suppliers of giftware, decorative and seasonal products in Austria and Germany.

2009 the company’s headquarters were renewed and enlarged fundamentally. Besides additional warehouse and working space, especially the new permanent Showroom offered much better possibilities for presentation.

2012 the company was handed over to the third generation, Philip Lang. So the company could follow its family-based philosophy and assure long-term maintenance.

The product range saw a steady development during the last decades:

1961 bis 1985: production of basketware and other weaved products

1974: production of weaved florist accessoiries and dried flower decorations

1984: import of basketware and artificial flowers

1990: improved production of florist decorations

2000: Assortment expansion "gifts"

2007: Design and Development of exclusive Angel Line IGOR as worldwide Trademark

2014: Design and Development of exclusive Angel Line OLGA (the girl beside Igor)

During the past decades we developed our company to become a full-range supplier for gifts, florist items and seasonal decorations.
