RATAGS Holzdesign HEIPRO GmbH is a manufacturer of genuine Erzgebirge wood art and a member of the Verband erzgebirgischer Kunsthandwerker und Spielzeughersteller e.V. The RATAGS brand stands for inventive spirit and Erzgebirge craftsmanship and is known as German workmanship beyond the borders of Germany. Whether Easter decorations, Christmas decorations, table decorations, candle arches, illuminated fir trees, window pictures, pyramids, tree decorations, room lights or incense smokers - all RATAGS articles are produced in filigree handwork at the company headquarters in Langenwolmsdorf near Stolpen in Saxony. Today, RATAGS is Germany's largest producer of Erzgebirge double candle arches with around 120 employees.

With the invention of the double candle arch by the company founder Gitta Heider, a new era of the candle arch in the Erzgebirge was initiated. Characteristic of a double Schwibbogen or 3D-Schwibbogen are two parallel rings of arches made by fretwork, between which a long-lasting LED light is placed to provide indirect illumination. The lights are cleverly placed behind fir trees, windows and figures and thus not only provide wonderful lighting effects, but also make the many small and loving details shine. A multitude of patents, utility models and registered designs stand for her inventive spirit. In 2005, Gitta Heider was awarded the Oskar Patzelt Foundation's grand prize for small and medium-sized businesses, the Oskar, as Entrepreneur of the Year.

The individual development of models is not only done for her own production, but also for renowned companies such as Käthe Wohlfahrt (Rothenburg ob der Tauber) or the Hummel Manufaktur Rödental. For other renowned companies such as the Radeberger Group, ENSO Energie Sachsen Ost AG, Glatfelter Dresden, RB Leipzig or the state enterprise Sachsenforst, individual company presents were and are produced in our house.

Illuminated Christmas trees are another form of popular Christmas decoration.

Among Christmas trees you can select between three different sizes and the following makings and motifs:

Candle arches with a thematically matching room light as a base form wonderful combinations and can be used beyond the Christmas season as a beautiful room decoration that can be used all year round thanks to the wintry and handicraft motifs. A special line here are candle arches to Germany's sights, such as the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the Church of Our Lady in Dresden, Neuschwanstein Castle, the Hofbrauhäus in Munich, Cologne Cathedral and many other city motifs.

The decorations for Easter include Easter bunnies, Easter chicks, Easter pyramids, shrub hangings, candle holders, Easter bowls and a wide range of table decorations.
