Messe Frankfurt initiates generation change in the consumer goods traid fairs sector
The consumer goods industry is facing fundamental challenges, both globally and nationally. In order to actively shape this process of change, which has been further accelerated by the Corona pandemic, Julia Uherek and Philipp Ferger will take over as Vice Presidents of Consumer Goods Fairs as of 01 June 2021. Nicolette Naumann, who is leaving the company at her own request, will continue to be available to Messe Frankfurt in an advisory capacity until 30 June 2021.

The Consumer Goods Digital Day, the digital meeting place for the international consumer goods industry on 20 April 2021, will start with a keynote by Sanjay Sauldie. According to the renowned management consultant and speaker, it is imperative that Germany and Europe succeed in digitally connecting consumers with analogue trade. Digitalisation must be seen as a bridge. Only then we will be better able to survive future developments and pandemics. The Press Center is located at the Torhaus level 4. Admission only to journalists and exhibitors within the framework of their press activities.

Restaurant in the Press Center
Give yourself a break and enjoy breakfast or lunch in our Press Center Restaurant. There, you can also take advantage of the opportunity to do some networking during the Happy Hour, which is held from 5.30 a.m. to 6.30 a.m., Friday to Monday during the trade fair.

Travelling to the fair
Journalists should enter the Exhibition Centre via Gate West and park on parking area P10. Please note that admission via Gate West is only possible with a parking permit or a valid journalist’s identity card.
