Consumer goods fair trio kicks off the new business season with strong themes
From 24/25 to 28 January 2020, the consumer goods fairs Christmasworld, Paperworld and Creativeworld will attract visitors with new products from over 3,000 exhibitors. In addition, the complementary programme picks up on social megatrends, thus creating future-oriented perspectives for the retail trade.
Christmasworld highlights promote successful business season 2020/21
Christmasworld will be opening its doors from 24 to 28 January 2020 in Frankfurt am Main. Its slogan this year: ‘coming home for business’. At the leading international trade fair for seasonal and festive decoration, some 1,050 exhibitors from 48 countries will be presenting their new products for the most profitable time of the year. On top of that, the extensive complementary programme will be offering all sorts and kinds of valuable inspiration and business ideas for the ‘Point of Sale’, which is increasingly becoming the ‘Point of Emotions’.
Christmasworld: Retail BLVD generates new impulses for the 'customer journey'
Christmasworld, from 24 to 28 January 2020, is focusing its product range on the success factor: customer experience at the point of sale. But how can retailers reach out to customers before they make any decision to purchase? How can their interest be awakened? And what different types of buyers are there? Together with the Institute for Retail Research (Institut für Handelsforschung - IFH) in Cologne, the Retail Boulevard (BLVD) 2020 will focus on the 'customer journey', by illustrating in different stores the steps towards the purchasing impulse and good customer relationships.
‘Urban regeneration’ urged by keynote speaker Ibrahim Ibrahim
Christmasworld’s ‘Premium’ business programme has invited Ibrahim Ibrahim, CEO Portland Design Associates London, to take the stage as keynote speaker on 27 January 2020. His speech has the title ‘Urban regeneration: the internet will not kill shops, it will liberate them!’ This short interview provides an advance look at some of his ideas.
‘Decoration unlimited – Dark Ocean’ surprises with an unconventional look
This new display for the show’s 10th anniversary by 2dezign really pushes the boat out and demonstrates how festive decoration can help create maximum wow effects at the point of sale. The creativity consultants from the Netherlands have put together a unique world of experiences from an unexpected mix of themes and products. The professional buyers at the show will be plunging into this at Christmasworld, from 24 to 28 January 2020, where they will be able to ‘go fishing’ for new ideas for their display windows and shop decorations.

The Press Center is located at the Torhaus level 4. Admission only to journalists and exhibitors within the framework of their press activities.

Travelling to the fair
Journalists should enter the Exhibition Centre via Gate West and park on parking area P10. Please note that admission via Gate West is only possible with a parking permit or a valid journalist’s identity card.

All press admission tickets include free travel to the fair and back using local public-transport services operated by the RMV public-transport authority in Frankfurt and the region.
