International Momentum Frankfurt: Kick-off for more courage, resilience and trust

The high level of visitor satisfaction and internationality send a strong message: with 4,636 exhibitors and participants from 170 countries, Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld confirmed their leading role in an industry undergoing rapid change. The momentum in Frankfurt opened up new business prospects and, from 6 to 10 February, once again served as the global marketplace for inspiration and orientation, orders and personal encounters.

New global industry index for consumer goods segments shows: US companies feel most affected by tariffs

With the launch of the new Industry Index, IFH KÖLN and Messe Frankfurt are presenting an international sentiment barometer for trade-fair-relevant consumer goods segments for the first time. The results of the inaugural survey reveal a mixed overall mood. Political uncertainty, pricing pressure and weak growth momentum are posing challenges for companies worldwide. While Asia and the USA are looking ahead with comparatively greater dynamism, Europe is adopting a more cautious stance. Overall, respondents rate their own business situation more positively than that of the entire industry. Across all regions, there is a clear call for less regulation.

Global compass for the consumer goods industry

Three leading trade fairs, one concentrated force for markets and transformation: the consumer goods trade fair trio of Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld will once again become a globally unique marketplace for industry, trade and contract business. From 6 to 9/10 February 2026, innovations from 4.636 [1] exhibitors – 88 percent of them international – will fill the entire Frankfurt exhibition grounds across a total of 28 hall levels. More than 170 participating nations and regions are expected. An absolute novelty are the Compass Talks, a new SME meeting point taking place ahead of the trade fairs, addressing the needs of the global consumer goods industry – fact-based, supported by the new IFH industry index.
