Messe Frankfurt Networking gives you access to a highly qualified and industry-specific network of participants. The focus is on precision – only relevant, verified contacts from the exhibition ecosystem are included.
Is participation in Networking automated?
Yes, participation is part of the overall experience. Profiles are created automatically upon ticket purchase but can be deactivated at any time.
Is Networking free of charge?
Yes, using the Messe Frankfurt Networking is completely free for you.
How can I deactivate my profile or unsubscribe from Networking?
If you no longer wish to use the Networking feature and want to deactivate your profile, you can do so in the “settings”.
Do I need to actively maintain my profile, or is it done automatically?
We recommend keeping your profile up to date to increase your visibility and ensure accurate information. Active maintenance helps you get the best results.
Who can see my profile?
Your profile is visible to all other participants within the Networking.
How secure is my data on Messe Frankfurt Networking?
Data protection is a top priority. All information is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR) and stored securely. You decide which details to include in your profile and whom to connect with. Your data will not be shared with third parties outside the network.
On which devices can I use the Networking feature? Is there an app?
You can access Networking via the respective event websites and through the Navigator apps (available from the end of November 2025).
Can I use one profile for multiple events?
Yes, your Networking profile can be used across different events – including Ambiente, Christmasworld, and Creativeworld.
What happens to my data after the event?
The networking feature is specifically intended to support post-event follow-up. Your data will be stored permanently.
For Exhibitors
How does my company benefit from Networking beyond the event itself?
Networking helps you nurture long-term business relationships, use the tool as a digital sales touchpoint, and expand your reach beyond the on-site audience.
Why do I need to assign contact persons (CPs)?
The Networking is designed for individuals. To participate as a company, representatives must be assigned so they can be identified as exhibitor contacts.
What is expected from the assigned contact persons?
Contact persons go through a short onboarding process and become visible as official representatives. They can send and receive connection requests and engage with potential customers.
How does the onboarding for my team members work?
During onboarding, participants define their interests, create a profile description, and activate their presence. Afterwards, they gain full access to Networking features.
Do my team members need separate logins, or can they use the exhibitor login?
Each contact person requires their own Messe login.
What happens if a contact person does not activate their profile?
They will receive an automated email invitation and a reminder after approximately two weeks if they haven’t activated their profile.
Are our contacts saved or exportable?
Currently, contact lists are not exportable. This feature is planned for future implementation.

Networking keeps you connected with meaningful contacts, even after the event. You can continue conversations and grow your professional network over time.
Can I search for specific companies or contact persons?
Yes, you can search using specific keywords and filters to find relevant contacts.
How does connecting work? Do I need to take action or will I get suggestions?
You can actively search for contacts or receive suggestions based on your profile. Sending a contact request is as simple as a single click.
Do I need to use Networking live during the event for it to be effective?
No, Networking works before, during, and after the event. You can initiate conversations in advance and continue them long after the event ends.
Do I need to be online all the time to avoid missing messages or contact requests?
No, you don’t need to stay online continuously. You’ll receive email notifications about new activity, and everything will be visible once you log in again.
